A workshop retreat for design students to explore collaborative visual thinking.
Visual Aid Society Creative Director Jill Allyn Peterson co-led the third iteration of Hostos Design Lab with Sarah Sandman, which spent a week in Averill Park, NY with the arts organization Arts, Letters & Numbers.
Students from Hostos Community College worked side-by-side with students from Cooper Union, Rhode Island School of Design and the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark in various creative workshops. Hostos students created a collaborative short film which intertwined each individual student’s artistic response within a collective narrative.
